About Me
I will try to keep it short and sweet :)
I have ridden since the age of 3 and always had a passion for competing and eventing. I have been very lucky over the years to have worked with some incredible people and gain invaluable knowledge. 1 person in particular that I will be eternally grateful to is Helen Hillard MFH. I grew up working with Helen and her hunters from the age of 13 up to 18 before leaving to continue my studies at Hartpury College. At Hartpury I gained a 2:2 in BA (Hons) Equine Business Management and was lucky enough to walk straight into a job working at a Life Assurance company, which pays for my many ponies.

The Gang
Miserden Velvet
Velvet was bought for me in late 2007 as a recently broken 4 year old. Together we worked up from BE90 to CIC* and Intermediate - Novice. Unfortunately Velvet sustained a hind suspensory ligament injury in 2012, after months of rehab and hard work we were well on the road to recovery and then the injury struck again. It was on vets advice that she was retired and that she would not compete to the level she was once at, and so in 2013 she was put in foal to Cevin Z. We are still hopeful that she may return to light work after 2 years off, but if not she will always be my glorified lawnmower!
Miserden Callista
Calli is my homebred filly born June 2014 out of Miserden Velvet and by Cevin Z. Fingers crossed she will follow in her mothers footsteps and be my next top event horse, with the chance to take me further than Velvet was able to.
The Queens Fool
Hannah is my freebie ex-racehorse that has almost cost me the most out of all my horses! I was given her by Helen Hillard on permanent long - term loan in 2011, originally to be my hunter to satisfy my withdrawal symptoms, however I started to retrain her to give eventing a go. Well - definitely my hardest challenge to date! It took 2 years but it finally started to click, then she was diagnosed with Kissing Spine......Hannah had the op and we underwent months of rehab; everything was just on track and then another injury - Subcondhral Bone Disease. There is no medication to help, only time will tell. She has enjoyed 7 months wintering out and will be brought back in around Spring to see whether she has recovered at all.
Midnight Robbery
Bobby is my newest recruit! Bought as a project to again satisfy my withdrawal symptoms, but this time for eventing rather than hunting. Bought in Autumn last year (2014) as a recently re-backed 5 year old, he has now progressed to jumping 80cm courses and being competitive at unaffiliated Prelim dressage competitions. I will be aiming him at BE80 and BE90 in 2015 with the long term goal of Badminton Grassroots Championships.
